The College of Hotel and Tourism, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), Trang Campus, organized a practical workshop on “Healthy Food Entrepreneurship” from 11–12 July 2024 under the project “From Crisis to Adaptation: Enhancing High-Quality Marine Tourism in the Gulf of Thailand–Andaman Region through Modern Learning Ecosystems, Management, Technology, and Innovation.” The event was honored by Mr. Tuck Siriwan, Vice President of the Krabi Tourism Industry Council; Mr. Sawat Anteng, Mayor of Khuan Kun Subdistrict; and Mr. Suthon Khoinueng, Director of the Khuan Kun Senior Citizens School and President of the Khuan Kun Senior Citizens Club, who attended to support and encourage participants. The workshop was led by Ms. Yanee Tangkham, a healthy food specialist, with support from project coordinators Miss Amornrat Sutthithamanon and Ms. Siripunyakorn Charoenviriyaphap. The activity focused on developing the knowledge and practical skills of local entrepreneurs in producing high-quality, safe, and market-responsive healthy food products.
Impact Result :
The workshop enhanced the entrepreneurial and practical skills of local participants, empowering them to produce safe, consumer-oriented healthy food that meets modern market demands. By integrating expert knowledge with hands-on learning, the activity promoted lifelong learning, strengthened community entrepreneurship, and supported sustainable economic growth beyond the campus—demonstrating RUTS’s active engagement in advancing education accessibility and community development in line with SDG 4.
