In collaboration with researchers from the Faculty of Business Administration, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (Songkhla Campus), a training and knowledge transfer activity was conducted under the Tha Kham Red Mushroom Village Project, Year 3 (FY 2024) to strengthen production capacity and promote community-based economic development. Held on 9–10 November 2024 at the Tha Kham Red Mushroom Community Enterprise, Tha Kham Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province, the activity was led by Miss Thippayasuda Somatanai and supported by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Science and Technology. The project emphasized the reuse of spent mushroom substrate and application of antagonistic microbial bioproducts to produce high-quality compost with pest control properties, enabling farmers to adopt safe, effective, and environmentally friendly production methods.
Impact Result:
The project enhanced the practical knowledge and technological capacity of local farmers, enabling them to reuse agricultural waste efficiently, produce high-quality compost, and reduce production costs. By integrating research outcomes into local practices, the project promoted sustainable agriculture, increased household income, and fostered lifelong learning through continuous innovation and community engagement beyond the university campus.
