Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), through the Faculty of Agriculture, operates a melon greenhouse farm at its Thungyai campus as part of the Plant Science Programโ€™s applied research and teaching activities.

The facility provides students with opportunities to learn and practice melon cultivation techniques in a controlled environment. It serves as both a learning center and a research and production site, enabling students to understand the complete process of smart farming from seed selection, planting, irrigation management, pest control, to post-harvest handling.

The melons harvested from this greenhouse meet consumer quality standards, reflecting the successful application of research-based cultivation techniques to real production systems. The melon greenhouse at Thungyai Campus is a model of applied agricultural research and education, where students gain hands-on experience while producing high-quality crops.
