The Division of Student Development organized the 4th Mental Health Screening and Counseling Activity under the “Quality Counseling and Support Workshop” project, aimed at enhancing the quality of life and mental well-being of RUTS personnel and students.
From September 4–9, 2024, Asst. Prof. Piya Prasongchan, Vice President of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, visited the activities to encourage and support staff and students participating in the mental health screenings and counseling sessions. The services were provided by the 12th Mental Health Center, Songkhla Province, and the 11th Mental Health Center, Surat Thani Province, using biofeedback methods for mental health assessment.
The program covered all university areas, including Songkhla, Rattaphum, Nakhon Si Thammarat Campus (Thungyai, Saiyai, and Khanom areas), and Trang Campus, with a total of 300 participants comprising staff and students. Additionally, follow-up appointments were scheduled to provide continuous counseling and close monitoring for individuals at high risk, ensuring comprehensive mental health support across the university community.
