Asst. Prof. Chayanat Buathongkuea, an expert member of the Western Southern River Basin Committee, attended the 2/2024 committee meeting held in the Phra Ya Ratsada Meeting Room, 5th Floor, Trang Provincial Hall. During the meeting, the committee acknowledged the subordinate legislation under Chapter 4: Water Allocation and Water Use in accordance with the Water Resources Act B.E. 2561 (2018), which had been considered by the National Water Resources Committee. The committee also reviewed the draught order appointing subcommittees under the Western Southern River Basin Committee, and provided opinions on the Additional Water Resources Action Plan for Fiscal Year 2025 for provinces and provincial clusters, consisting of 64 projects with a total budget of 937.34 million baht. The Secretariat was assigned to proceed with the sign-off process accordingly.
