Their work reinterpreted Southern Thai cultural motifs and contemporary lifestyles using digital projection techniques, creating an engaging visual storytelling experience that connected audiences to both heritage and innovation. The exhibition served as a bridge between local tradition and modern creativity, demonstrating how architecture and digital media can enhance cultural communication and public appreciation.

This initiative was made possible through the collaboration of CEA (Creative Economy Agency), YIMSAMER, and EPSON Projector, with academic supervision by Lecturer Thitika Kaewsamuang and Asst. Prof. Rohana Waed-alo. The project reflected RMUTSV’s vision of empowering students to apply design thinking, technological literacy, and cultural awareness to develop creative works that contribute to urban cultural sustainability.

The “Projection Mapping: Contemporary Culture” project exemplifies the integration of art, architecture, and technology in promoting cultural accessibility and creative learning.
By participating in Pakk Tai Design Week 2024, RUTS students demonstrated how academic innovation can connect communities, celebrate cultural heritage, and support creative economy development. This activity directly contributes to Sustainable Cities and Communities, emphasizing the role of universities in shaping inclusive, creative, and culturally vibrant cities.
