Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RMUTSV) has established comprehensive financial support policies through the Regulation on Tuition Fee Exemption and Installment Payment (B.E. 2565) to ensure equitable access to higher education and promote student welfare. This initiative, under the university’s Policy & Operation framework, reflects a strong institutional commitment to helping students overcome financial barriers that may hinder their educational progress. The policy allows qualified students—particularly those from low-income families or those facing temporary financial hardship—to receive either full or partial tuition fee exemptions or to make installment payments according to their financial capacity. These measures are designed to reduce the economic burden on students and their families, helping them remain in the education system and successfully complete their studies.
This policy directly aligns with SDG 1: No Poverty, specifically SDG 1.3.1 and 1.3.2, by supporting inclusive admission and graduation opportunities for students from the lowest income groups; SDG 1.3.3 and 1.3.4, by implementing practical financial assistance mechanisms and structured support systems to ensure that disadvantaged students can continue their education without interruption; and SDG 1.3.5, by providing tuition waivers, installment plans, and financial relief programs for students from low- and middle-income households. Through these policies, RMUTSV demonstrates its leadership in inclusive higher education management, reinforcing its role as a socially responsible university that integrates equity, accessibility, and sustainability into its operational system—ensuring that every student has the opportunity to pursue higher education regardless of economic status.
