Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RMUTSV) promotes educational accessibility and equality through the implementation of the Student Loan Fund (กยศ.), which enables students from low-income families to pursue higher education without financial barriers. This initiative reflects the university’s strong commitment to enhancing Teaching and Learning by ensuring that every student, regardless of economic status, has equal access to quality education and the opportunity to complete their studies successfully.
The program provides financial support for tuition fees and living expenses, reducing economic inequality and fostering an inclusive learning environment. It also encourages students to focus on academic achievement and skill development, aligning learning outcomes with the university’s mission to produce capable, ethical, and socially responsible graduates.
This initiative directly supports SDG 1: No Poverty, specifically addressing indicators 1.3.1, 1.3.2, 1.3.3, 1.3.4, and 1.3.5, by setting admission and graduation goals for low-income students, offering continuous support and retention programs, and ensuring financial assistance through scholarships and loans. Through the Student Loan Fund, RMUTSV demonstrates how equitable access to education can drive social mobility, reduce poverty, and cultivate sustainable human resource development for the future.
