Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RMUTSV) actively advances SDG 1: No Poverty through its strong outreach and community engagement initiatives. By collaborating with the Department of Skill Development, local industries, and other universities nationwide, RMUTSV extends its academic and technical expertise to support communities in developing employable skills and enhancing income generation opportunities. The university serves as a bridge between education and employment, reaching out to underprivileged groups, informal workers, and community-based enterprises to ensure that they can participate in lifelong learning and workforce training. These engagement activities include mentorship, workshops, and vocational upskilling programs, enabling participants to acquire industry-relevant competencies that lead to better job prospects or self-employment. Through continuous collaboration with government agencies and local employers, RMUTSV’s outreach model helps create sustainable livelihoods and promotes inclusive economic growth. This aligns with SDG Target 1.4.1, which focuses on empowering communities to access financial and social sustainability through education, training, and access to institutional resources. Ultimately, RMUTSV’s commitment to engagement ensures that no one is left behind, transforming education into a practical tool for social mobility and poverty alleviation.
