Rattaphum College, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, has established the RPC Smart Farm Learning Base as part of its institutional policy to integrate sustainability and innovation into university operations. Under the leadership of Dr. Prayoomart Suyabangdam, the initiative demonstrates how academic institutions can align internal policy frameworks with national strategies on smart agriculture and sustainable development. The project serves as a model for applying university resources—research, innovation, and human capital—to community-centered operations that enhance food security, environmental stewardship, and rural livelihoods.
This initiative reflects the Policy & Operation dimension by embedding sustainable practices into the university’s operational system and governance. The Smart Farm not only functions as a research and learning hub but also as an operational blueprint for implementing green policy, efficient resource management, and inclusive community collaboration. Through coordination with local authorities and alignment with national agricultural innovation policies, Rattaphum College demonstrates the role of higher education institutions as active policy contributors and operational leaders in driving sustainable development.
