(Assistant Dean for Cultural Preservation), and Lecturer Plakorn Punmanee (Visual Arts Program), together with students, joined local artisans, monks, and residents to design and decorate ceremonial “Rua Phra” boats both land based and waterborne. The collaboration brought vibrant, engaging designs to the vessels at Wat Muang Wan, Sathing Phra District, Songkhla Province.

As a practice-oriented design faculty, RMUTSV’s Faculty of Architecture delivers creative solutions that benefit communities through four programs Architecture, Urban Planning, Visual Arts (Fine Arts), and Fashion & Textile Design. This partnership with the local sector marks a starting point for collectively advancing cultural and environmental stewardship, and for sustaining, transmitting, and enriching local arts, culture, and traditions over the long term.
