On 15 February 2024, Ratphum College of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya organized a modern agriculture learning activity for local farmers as part of the Mobile Agricultural Clinic under the Royal Patronage of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn (Q2/2024).
The college established a learning base at RPC Smart Farm, where farmers and visitors were introduced to modern agricultural technologies and IoT-based smart farming systems. The training session, conducted by Asst. Prof. Sudeh Nisen and Mr. Thosaphit Wisamitan, covered:
- Smart farm system operations and automatic environmental control
- Integration of IoT technology into farming practices
- Practical applications to increase agricultural efficiency and reduce costs
The event aimed to:
- Strengthen farmer knowledge and technological capacity
- Encourage the adoption of smart farming in rural and remote areas
- Support integrated agricultural development through collaboration among multiple agencies under the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives.
This activity at RPC Smart Farm exemplifies how Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya supports local farmers through knowledge transfer and technology training.
