In 2024, RUTS participated in international collaboration with Times Higher Education on gathering and measuring data for the SDGs. For instance, Dr Lamun Kayurin , Assistant to President (SDGs Leader), together with Asst. Prof. Dr Chanyut Sudtongkong, represented RUTS at the Global Sustainable Development Congress 2024, held from 10-13 June 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand. The Congress, co-hosted by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) and Time Higher Education, focused on how higher education institutions, government, industry, and society can rethink their roles to address global sustainability challenges and advance the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). RUTS participated in this global forum to exchange knowledge, strengthen collaborations, and gather insights and data essential for preparing its SDGs submission for 2025. Furthermore, it is a) great opportunity for all committees to meet Mr. Todd Hornal Regional Director (APAC), Times Higher Education to share, discuss, exchanges ideas on “Impact Rankings 2025” and “How do we get the best score of the Impact Rankings 2025?” In addition, He indicates that research metrics are measured against a document search of the Scopus dataset and evidence is assessed according to a simple calculation approach. Where evidence is required a series of questions are asked, and points are assigned according to the answer.

Moreover, During October 25-27, 2024, International Affairs leads by Dr Lamun Kayurin hosted Impact Rankings 2025 training for almost 60 participants from 17 SDGs Committees. She was the guest speaker for the session and focusing on the general metric and indicators calculation of both research and evidence for each SDGs. Finally, on 27th October 2024, the training continues to focus on the guide line on how to collect data by Dr. Lamun Kayurin and how to put data in to the provided platform that is “WordPress” by Mr.Panuwat Noonkong and Mr.Varutcha Chanchampa. In the afternoon, in groups of all 17 SDGs, all committees have chances to practice and choose the related news to put in WordPress. In conclusion, International collaboration data gathering for SDGs, it is the opportunity for RUTS SDGs team to learn, share ideas and implement on measuring data for each SDGs.
