RUTS actively monitors low-carbon energy consumption across the entire university to support continuous improvements in energy efficiency and environmental performance. A major component of this initiative is the installation of solar rooftop systems on multiple buildings, allowing the university to generate clean, renewable electricity and lessen its reliance on conventional power sources.
In addition, RUTS promotes the use of electric vehicles (EVs)—including both cars and motorcycles—to enhance green mobility on campus. This effort also includes student-led EV development projects that contribute to innovation and practical learning in sustainable transportation. The EVs are available for students, staff, and official university operations, helping to reduce travel time, increase convenience, and significantly lower carbon emissions.
Through systematic energy monitoring, the expansion of solar power, and the promotion of electric mobility, RUTS demonstrates a strong commitment to lowering carbon emissions across campus. These initiatives not only contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable learning environment but also reflect the university’s dedication to supporting regional, national, and global sustainability objectives.
