On Wednesday, June 5, 2024, Asst. Prof. Kittikon Khanklaew, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, together with faculty members and students from Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), Trang Campus, participated in the World Environment Day 2024 event under the theme “Youth Rising for a Greener Future.” The faculty presented innovations for environmental management at the exhibition organized by the Southern Royal Initiative Waste and Wastewater Management Technology Transfer Center, Sikao District, Trang Province. The event aimed to raise youth awareness of natural resource conservation and promote systematic waste and wastewater management. Exhibits and demonstrations included a solar-powered surface waste collection boat, a household waste grinder and composting unit, and activities on greenhouse gas reduction, waste minimization, and creative reuse of materials for educational tools.
