An International invention and innovation competition held from July 9-11, 2024, at the Singapore Expo, Republic of Singapore. Their innovation project “Red Calo Miracle Lip Balm” did receive international recognition, winning both a Gold Medal Award and the NRCT Honorable Mention Award. This achievement is a significant honor for Thailand, highlighting the ingenuity and global competitiveness of Thai researchers and bringing pride to the nation on the world stage. The results of this research illustrated that the Red Calo Miracle Lip Balm is developed from natural extracts and reflects the potential of Thai researchers in creating sustainable innovations for health and beauty. The product exemplifies how academic research can be transformed into high-value innovations which enhance quality of life and promote environmentally friendly production. In conclusion, the impact of results demonstrates that the project enhances teaching in cosmetic science and natural product development, strengthens RUTS’s global research reputation, and creates business opportunities in the eco-friendly cosmetics industry. It also contributes to Thailand’s BCG economy and supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 3, 8, and 12).
