The Office of Innovation Management and Technology Transfer (RUTS), through its Cultural Enterprise Division, led by Mr. Apichart Kantascha and Mr. Suriyan Khamchaeng, under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Worapong Boonchuaytan and currently directed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chatree Homkhiew, Assistant to the President, has initiated a heritage project titled “Songkhla Old City Wall Model and Exhibition.”

The project, conducted in collaboration with the Faculty of Architecture (Dr. Jare Suwannachat and Mr. Plakorn Phanmani) and creative cultural networks, including the Songkhla Heritage Lovers Association (led by Mr. Wutthichai Petsuwan) and the Fine Arts Department Region 11 (Songkhla Office), aims to promote learning, conservation, and cultural awareness through exhibition and physical model of the Songkhla Old City Wall.

Funded by PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP), the initiative serves as an academic service project generating income, while contributing to the promotion of Songkhla Old Town as a World Heritage candidate site.

The exhibition is designed as a learning platform for local residents, students, youth, tourists, and the general public to understand and appreciate the history and architectural significance of the Songkhla Old City Wall and Gates.
