New student recruitment using the quota for disabled students
In 2024, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya conducted a public relations campaign for the 2025 academic year student admissions, which included a special quota for students with disabilities. This initiative aims to provide educational opportunities for students with disabilities, ensuring that they have access to education equal to that of other individuals.
The special admission quota for students with disabilities at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS) aims to promote and support equal educational opportunities, enabling students with disabilities to develop their potential, abilities, aptitudes, and interests. RUTS provides educational support and promotes learning in alignment with the specific needs of students with disabilities to ensure that they receive education of the same standard as other students.
Furthermore, the university offers appropriate services and support through qualified personnel and assistive technologies to ensure reasonable accommodations. The ultimate goal of this initiative is to reduce social inequality and to promote inclusive education, thereby ensuring equitable access to educational opportunities for all students with disabilities.
