On July 18, 2024, the Faculty of Science and Fisheries Technology at RUTS (Trang Campus), led by Asst. Prof. Manoch Khamcharoen, Dean of the faculty, signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) to strengthen collaboration between the university and the private sector under the University–Industry Linkage Program.
The partnerships include:
- MoU with Siam General Technology Co., Ltd., represented by Managing Director Mr. Peerapol Kao-ian, focusing on the utilization of sludge from activated sludge treatment systems in the rubber industry.
- MoU with Sutthalay Trading Co., Ltd., represented by Managing Director Mr. Burin Chanpaetrak, aimed at promoting research collaboration and innovation development.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by faculty executives and academic staff at the Faculty of Science and Fisheries Technology, Trang Campus.
The MoUs establish a framework for collaboration in research, teaching, innovation development, and knowledge exchange between the university and private enterprises. This initiative aims to bridge academic knowledge with industrial applications, support the development of sustainable technologies, and enhance the skills of future graduates.
