RUTS Trang Faculty of Engineering Hosts Solar Rooftop Skills Enhancement Workshop

Between July 11–12, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), Trang Campus, in collaboration with Innovation Technology Phuket Co., Ltd., conducted a training program titled “Solar Rooftop Knowledge and Skills Enhancement.”

The training was specifically designed for students in the Electrical Engineering Program within the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. The primary goal was to develop practical skills in the installation, repair, and maintenance of solar photovoltaic (PV) power generation systems. Furthermore, the initiative aims to foster student entrepreneurship in the solar power sector, aligning with the contemporary demand for renewable and alternative energy solutions.

The project was officially inaugurated by Assistant Professor Kittikorn Khankaeo, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. Associate Professor Dr. Paphatsakorn Areekul, a lecturer in the Electrical Engineering Program and the Project Manager, delivered the opening report.

A total of 30 participants attended the workshop. The event featured Mr. Amorn Leelawongsanit, Managing Director of Innovation Technology Phuket Co., Ltd., who served as the expert speaker, exchanging knowledge and sharing practical experience on Solar Rooftop technology. The training was held in the meeting room on the second floor of the 60th Anniversary Celebration Building at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, RMUTSV Trang Campus.
