On Wednesday, May 22, 2024, Assistant Professor Krisanapong Sangkawasi presided over the opening ceremony of the Workshop on Quality Counseling and Encouragement, under Sub-activity 1: Counselor Training Workshop, held at Khanom Sunrise Resort and Hotel, Khanom District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.
The workshop aimed to develop personnel skills in strengthening students’ mental resilience and enhancing their ability to cope with situations that may affect their emotional well-being. The objectives were to equip participants with knowledge and understanding of the principles, processes, and techniques of counseling, as well as to build their capacity to provide systematic counseling and referral support for students.
A total of 50 participants joined the workshop, including 15 academic staff from various faculties and colleges and 35 support staff from campuses and academic centers. The training was honored to have experts from the Smile & Smart Center serve as speakers, providing both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practice in counseling skills.
