Prof. Chutinut Sujarit and her research team conducted a study titled “Shrimp Paste for Women’s Health.” Shrimp paste, made from small shrimp or krill, contains nutrients beneficial to women’s health, such as calcium and vitamin D for bone strength, vitamin B12 to prevent anemia, and antioxidants like astaxanthin that help reduce fatigue and support eye health. However, due to its high sodium content, it should be consumed in moderation and sourced from clean, hygienic production to ensure safety and health benefits.
The benefit of shrimp paste especially for women are supports bone and teeth health, prevents anemia enhances brain and nervous system function, provides antioxidant protection and promotes overall well-being regular, moderate consumption of clean, hygienically produced shrimp paste can contribute to better nutrient intake, stress reduction, and overall vitality in women.
