The project was led by Asst. Prof. Supachai Srikwankaew, a lecturer in the Visual Arts Program, with collaboration from Visual Arts students, local artists, and schools. Together, they engaged the community in a co-creative process that combined art, culture, and participation.

A hands-on art and sculpture workshop was conducted to encourage youth, students, and community members to explore Songkhla’s cultural essence through creative expression. Participants visited sites in Songkhla Old Town, observing its architecture, lifestyles, and local heritage for inspiration.

Through this collaborative process, participants analyzed and synthesized visual ideas drawn from the city’s unique identity-such as motifs, landmarks, and historical stories-and later transformed them into elements of community sculpture landmarks. The resulting works reflect the collective creativity and identity of Songkhla, strengthening pride and belonging among local residents.
