On 26 December 2024, the research team from Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, together with community innovators, organized an exhibition and knowledge-sharing event showcasing the outcomes of the project “Participatory Technology Application to Strengthen Local Agricultural Economy.”

The project aimed to enhance the economic resilience of local mushroom farmers through technology transfer, appropriate innovation, and collaborative problem-solving. The event took place during the Mobile Agricultural Clinic under the Royal Patronage of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn (1st round, FY2025), officially opened by Mr. Sakra Kapilakan, Governor of Satun Province.

The event brought together a wide network of stakeholders, including:

  • Provincial and district agricultural offices
  • Local government agencies
  • Community leaders and private sector representatives
  • More than 260 farmers and community members

Key highlights included:

  • Exhibition of research outputs and appropriate agricultural technologies.
  • Knowledge sharing and consultation on mushroom cultivation and post-harvest management.
  • Strengthening partnerships between university researchers, local government, and farmers.
