During May 4–5, 2024, the Institute of Natural Resources and Environment, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), Trang Campus, led by Mr. Somphop Yeesun, Senior Fisheries Technical Officer, and Asst. Prof. Anek Sawa-in, Department of Marine Science and Environment, Faculty of Science and Fisheries Technology, in collaboration with Saengthong Wittayanusorn School, Thung Song District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, represented by Mr. Phongsanarin Saengthong, School Director, organized the “Marine Resource Learning Classroom Project for Sustainable Conservation.” The activity was held at the Institute of Natural Resources and Environment with participation from a group of students. The project aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of mangrove ecosystem functions, marine debris management, and value-added product creation from recyclable materials, promoting sustainable marine resource conservation through hands-on learning experiences.
