Details:
The professors, staff, and students of the university have been appointed to the highest administrative positions within the university in accordance with the Royal Decree on Rajamangala University of Technology, B.E. 2548. This decree consists of five major components working together to establish policies, supervise and manage various aspects of the university’s operations. These components include the University Council, the Academic Council, the Council of Professors and Civil Servants, the University Management Committee, and the Student Body.

The Office of the University Council of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS) organized the 2024 Policy Retreat Seminar between the University Council members and university executives on August 29–30, 2024, at the Ratchavadee Room, 2nd Floor, Grand Ballroom Building, Buri Sriphu Hotel, Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province.
On August 30, 2024, the seminar featured two keynote presentations:
- “Guidelines for Managing Research, Innovation, and Intellectual Property Toward Commercialization and Business Acceleration Platforms in Higher Education Institutions” delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Akkarawit Kanjanaopas, Senior Advisor, Program Management Unit for Competitiveness (PMUC).
- “Generating Revenue from Innovation” delivered by Prof. Dr. Somsak Panya, Director, Center of Excellence on Biodiversity, Chulalongkorn University.
University Council members and executives actively participated in the policy retreat seminar, engaged in discussions, and provided recommendations for the future strategic directions of the university.
