The Student Association of the Faculty of Architecture, RUTSV, organized the annual “Wall Paint Project 2024” at Ban Koh Lipe School in Satun Province.The project aimed to enhance the school’s physical environment and landscape while promoting student engagement and community development through creative mural painting.
Under the guidance of the faculty’s administrators, staff, and advisors, students collaborated to design and paint wall murals that reflect the school’s identity, island culture, and local lifestyle. These murals were inspired by the spirit of the community, turning school walls into colorful expressions of pride and belonging.
The activity enabled students to apply their professional knowledge and creative skills in architecture and design to improve the community’s visual environment. It also fostered a sense of social responsibility, teamwork, and sustainability awareness, aligning academic learning with real-world social contributions.
The Wall Paint Project 2024 exemplifies how design education, creativity, and volunteerism can transform learning spaces and strengthen community connections. By revitalizing Ban Koh Lipe School through art, RUTS students contribute to inclusive education, cultural identity, and sustainable community development, embodying the university’s mission to nurture designers who create positive, meaningful impact for society and the environment.
