This research focuses on developing a smart seedling nursery for organic cultivation, aimed at enhancing the efficiency and robustness of seedlings before they are transplanted into larger plots within the Tha Kham Sub district community enterprise group, Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province. The smart seedling nursery greenhouse regulates various growth factors, maintaining temperature within the range of 25–30°C, relative humidity at 65–90%, and moderate soil moisture levels (50–70%). It features a misting and ventilation system to ensure a consistent environment. Additionally, it uses 430–630 nm LED Grow lights during nighttime to extend photosynthesis by 5 hours when sunlight is absent. This smart nursery can accommodate up to 12 trays of 200-hole seedling trays.

In tests involving the nurturing of green oak seedlings, it outperformed the traditional method, resulting in healthier, stronger, and faster-growing seedlings. The trunk length showed a 16.9% increase compared to the conventional method, reducing the time required for seedling nursery before large plot planting by approximately 33%. Furthermore, when operated at full efficiency, this smart greenhouse can reduce land usage by about three times compared to traditional community nursery practices.
