On May 31, 2022, Mr. Sawas Khunnui, the head of the community tourism OTOP (One Tambon One Product), along with the administrators and researchers from Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, collaborated with the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) to visit and assess the research work carried out by the university. This initiative aimed to drive the development of agricultural learning centers.

During the visit, they conducted fieldwork and evaluated the pepper cultivation area of the local community enterprise “Large Pepper Field” in the Pa Lian District of Trang Province. The research project was led by Dr. Naphatsawan Leumnimit, a member of the Faculty of Agriculture. Mr. Kitti Siriratnabunyachai and Mr. Komol Konginkaeo, the leaders of the Large Pepper Field community enterprise, also participated in the aforementioned activities.

Additionally, the delegation observed the chicken farming practices of the community tourism group in Ban Khao Lak, Nampud District, Trang Province. Dr. Nappapatch Chuaychunoo, from the Faculty of Agriculture, headed this research project.

The researchers from the university provided valuable knowledge to local farmers to enhance productivity in both pepper and black chicken farming, ultimately contributing to sustainable income generation and the well-being of the community.
