On Saturday, September 17, 2022, students from the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology and the Faculty of Liberal Arts participated in an event organized by Habor Department Authority Office No. 4 at various branches to release 900,000 aquatic animals back into their natural habitat as part of the ” Harbor Department Collaboration Project Releasing Aquatic Animals”. This event was held in commemoration of the 90th birthday of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, on August 12, 2022, which is celebrated as “Mother’s Day” in Thailand. The event took place at Samila Beach (Sanam Luang Park, Sala Thai) in Bo Yang Sub-district, Mueang District, Songkhla Province.

Mr. Sompong Jirasirotlek, Deputy Director-General of the Harbor Department, Operation Division was the project chairman. The purpose of this project was to increase the population of aquatic animals in natural water sources, ensuring a more abundant source of food for consumers, and preserving the aquatic resources in natural water sources.
