This innovation is an automatic solar-powered egg incubation system for chicken and duck eggs. It was developed by students and faculty in electronic engineering at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya. It’s designed for use in the Bo Dan sub district community in Songkhla Province. This project, part of the U2T initiative, aims to create jobs and income for the community.

The Bo Dan Sub district is primarily home to farmers raising native chicken and duck species. However, due to high market demand, natural incubation leads to low hatching rates and long waiting times, which can’t meet market needs and increases production costs.

This innovation ensures high-quality egg incubation, reducing offspring mortality. It’s convenient and produces chicken and duck breeds that meet market demands.
