The Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, in collaboration with the Research and Development Center for Inland Aquatic Animals of Nakhon Si Thammarat, organized a knowledge transfer activity on the processing of cockle offspring to create new products for cockle farmers in Cha-uat District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.

This event, which took place on Thursday, September 1, 2022, was conducted by faculty members, including Associate Professor Jariporn Chuerjedton and Associate Professor R.T. Preecha Muneesri. The activity aimed to teach cockle farmers how to process cockle meat into cockle nuggets, providing valuable skills to enhance the value and development of their agricultural products. The event received support from Ms. Nipa Kalsri, the director of the Research and Development Center for Inland Aquatic Animals of Nakhon Si Thammarat. This knowledge transfer activity was beneficial for the participating farmers, as it allowed them to explore different processing techniques and market opportunities for their products.
