30 April 2022, PMU-A Board Visit: Narrowband Internet of Things (NB-IoT) for Particulate Matter Monitoring System

The Songkhla smart city project represents a pioneering initiative in Thailand’s urban development landscape. At its core, this project embodies the integration of advanced technologies to enhance the quality of life for residents. One crucial component of this smart city endeavor is the implementation of PM2.5 detectors. Which play a pivotal role in monitoring and mitigating air pollution.

Air pollution, specifically particulate matter 2.5 (PM2.5), is a major concern in urban areas worldwide. PM2.5 particles are fine, inhalable particles that can penetrate deep into the respiratory system, leading to various health issues, including respiratory diseases and cardiovascular problems. Therefore, the inclusion of PM2.5 detectors in the Songkhla smart city project is of paramount importance.

We are delighted to announce the forthcoming PMU-A Board Scholarship Visit, an event of significant importance for our ongoing endeavors in the field of environmental monitoring and technology innovation. This visit serves as a testament to the commitment of the PMU-A Board to support pioneering projects, such as our Narrowband Internet of Things (NB-IoT) for Particulate Matter Monitoring System.
