The Faculty of Agro-Industry at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Nakhon Si Thammarat Campus, located in Thung Yai, is led by Assistant Professors Dr. Saowanee Chaiphech, Dr. Sirinath Srionnuan, Dr. Thanikarn Tharosinthu, and Dr. Suthasinee Thongnak, who are instructors in the Food Management and Service program and the Food Technology and Innovation program and Assistant Professor Dr. Sapasit Chuklin, Instructor in the Food Technology and Innovation program. They visited the Nong Khla Samakkhi Community Enterprise Group in Ban Nong Khla Samakkhi, Khao Ro District, Thung Song, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province to engage in discussions and provide advice to farmers cultivating upland rice varieties, including 62 Luke duei and Luke Pra. The aim of this collaboration, supported by Siam Cement Group (SCG), is to enhance value and develop products such as ‘tou le’ (French macaroons) to create employment opportunities and generate income for the farmers.
