The Establishment of the Assistive Devices and Disability Equipment Production Center in Songkhla Province at Rattaphum College, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya

Rattaphum College, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya and the Rehabilitation Fund of Songkhla Province, joined forces with the Disabled People’s Association of Songkhla Province to establish the Assistive Devices and Disability Equipment Production Center in Songkhla Province.

This center aims to produce standardized assistive devices and disability equipment in accordance with the Provincial Rehabilitation Fund of 2019 and other relevant programs. The objective is to enhance access to assistive devices for persons with disabilities, the elderly, semi-acute patients, and those requiring assistance within Songkhla Province.

This initiative is intended to address delays in equipment procurement and delivery, ensuring that individuals in need of rehabilitation can access the necessary equipment quickly and efficiently. It is expected to provide substantial benefits to patients by reducing waiting times for equipment delivery and enabling timely rehabilitation.
