On September 13, 2022, the Office of Innovation Management and Technology Transfer, RUTS organized a practical seminar focusing on business plan development, product development, and market entry. This event was conducted as part of the project to drive the grassroots economy and society post-COVID-19 with the BCG (U2T of BCG) economic approach. The seminar took place at the Vitharn Santi Hall, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Nakhon Si Thammarat campus.

The seminar was attended by 200 participants from the Krabi and Nakhon Si Thammarat regions. Associate Professor Somyot SriPeam, Assistant to the President for the Nakhon Si Thammarat campus, presided over the event, and Assistant Professor Worapong Boonchuaytan, Director of the Office of Innovation Management and Technology Transfer, provided an opening speech.

The main objectives of this seminar were to enhance the capacity and competencies of local producers and service providers in the BCG sector within the Krabi and Nakhon Si Thammarat regions. The event aimed to equip participants with knowledge, technology, and innovations to boost job opportunities for recent graduates and local residents. Furthermore, it aimed to develop the workforce with essential skills for contemporary work environments and skills relevant to the BCG sector.

More over, training in practical photography and media production for Charn Rong honey products were also held on September 10-11, 2022, the Faculty of Liberal Arts at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, in collaboration with the Community Enterprise Group of Leuang Ong and Ying Yuan Bang Klam, organized a practical training event as part of the U2T project.

The activity focused on training in practical photography and media production for Charn Rong honey products. Participants received training on photography techniques and the use of software tools for enhancing product images, aiming to make the products more visually appealing. Additionally, the event included knowledge sharing on video production and online media production for community engagement. This knowledge aimed to help the community access consumers, tourists, and businesses more effectively.

The training was facilitated by Assistant Professor Manasawas Kulwong and Mr. Narongsak Suriyaworagul, who served as instructors and contributed to the community’s learning and development.
