In 2022, the Faculty of Engineering enhanced the quality of lighting in classrooms, offices, and outdoor areas. They replaced outdated 40-watt fluorescent lamps with more efficient 18-watt LED lamps, leading to a reduction of 27.62 kg of CO2 emissions per lamp annually. This transition has substantially decreased carbon emissions stemming from the power plant’s electricity production process.
