On May 12, 2022, Asst.Prof. Somkid Chaipetch, vice president of RUTS Nakhon Si Thammarat Campus along with Asst.Prof.Dr. Saowanee Chaipetch from Faculty of Agricultural Industry, representing researchers, prepared an exhibition within the research and innovation category to enhance the economic value and creative economy in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.
The event was part of the Thailand Research Expo 2022 organized by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation. It aimed to showcase research achievements and innovations and commemorate the great contributions of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and the exhibition presented information and accomplishments from research networks nationwide. The event took place from August 1 to August 5, 2022, at the 22nd and 23rd floors of Centara Grand Hotel and Bangkok Convention Center, CentralWorld, Bangkok.
The initiative to “elevate beef cattle production and calf rearing using technology and innovation in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province” aims to facilitate the transfer of knowledge related to technology and innovation to improve the quality of beef cattle in the mountainous regions on the western side of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. This project represents a holistic approach that combines research with community academic services, with a strong emphasis on knowledge transfer regarding beef cattle and calf rearing practices derived from research processes.
