Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS) is significantly contributing to the development of the Southern Regional Science Park. On Friday, December 22, 2023, Associate Professor Warapong Boonchuaythan and Ms. Thanathida Kaewwangsakul attended the inaugural working group meeting for the Southern Regional Science Park, conducted at the administrative building of the Southern Science Park in Hat Yai, Songkhla Province.
The meeting concentrated on formulating rules and strategies for executing measures that will enhance the usage of scientific and innovative infrastructure in the region. The objective is to augment the competitiveness of local enterprises and foster economic development alongside the innovation ecosystem in the region. This collaboration will give local businesses access to cutting-edge technology and resources, boosting Southern economic growth. The project will also promote research, development, and collaboration between academia, industry, and government to build an innovation ecosystem. The initiative can boost regional economic growth, innovation, and science and technology hub status.
