This empowers local entrepreneurs and fishermen to produce high standard products. At the same time, it also helps create sustainability in the conservation of marine resources.
This exchange and collaboration with the community has resulted in fishermen being able to increase the selling price of their shrimp. From the original price of 15 baht per kilogram, it is now 40 baht per kilogram. To provide fishermen with a more stable income and improve their quality of life. in addition The collaboration of the research team and fishermen also promotes the conservation of krill and the sustainable management of natural resources. The research team also introduced new production technology. Etc. Enter the community such as Using an infrared shrimp paste drying cabinet Which can control the quality of shrimp paste in terms of moisture content color and quality accurately This developed and controlled production process not only allows the community to produce high quality shrimp paste continuously, But it also allows coastal communities to sell shrimp paste at significantly higher prices. From the original price of only 150 baht per kilogram, it has now been increased to 400 baht. This income increase has a direct impact on reducing poverty among households in coastal communities. Help villagers have sufficient income to live on and save for the future.
This research not only supports the development of production processes in the community but also creates participation in determining guidelines for natural resource management at local and regional levels. To create sustainable knowledge and skills for villagers who participate in all processes. The development of this high standard and environmentally friendly shrimp paste product is not only an opportunity to create a new market, Etc. But also promote community participation in preserving and caring for their own marine resources.
