On July 31, 2023, students from CQUPT in the People’s Republic of China participated in a Thai cooking workshop that included both savory and sweet dishes. The main menu featured Tom Kha Gai (chicken in coconut soup) and Sticky Rice with Mango. During this activity, the students collaborated with faculty members and fellow students from the Food and Nutrition program.
The students had the opportunity to learn about using fresh and appropriate ingredients to create dishes with high nutritional value, while also understanding the proper preparation and cooking techniques for Thai cuisine. This activity not only served as a practical cooking experience but also fostered strong relationships between students and faculty, along with cultural exchange through the art of cooking.
