Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS ) has developed a research project on pepper, the identity of Trang Province. Focusing on the development of the Plian pepper variety which is a local pepper variety with high potential This project does not only study the characteristics of Plian pepper. But it also includes the production process that emphasizes ** refined agriculture ** by giving importance to the careful selection of products. Sort and develop to produce high quality pepper Both black pepper red And white Focusing on organic production processes that have been certified with organic agricultural standards To build confidence in product quality and safety
The University is aware that producing premium quality organic pepper requires careful attention and meticulousness in selecting and continuously developing the product. Every step From chemical-free cultivation To the harvesting and sorting process Focus on obtaining quality pepper with consistency in unique taste and aroma. This process not only helps to increase the value of Plian pepper to become a premium product But it also creates widely accepted organic farming standards.
The university has expanded this project by developing an inventory system. Public relations in the premium market and systematically creating brand awareness of Trang’s Pali pepper There are also training activities and promotion of local farmers in using environmentally friendly farming methods. Including the development of marketing skills To enable farmers to confidently export high-quality pepper to the market.
With the university’s intention towards the product and strengthening the community economy This organic pepper project is therefore a good example of integrating research and innovation into local product development.
