Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS) held a workshop on July 24-25, 2023 at Buri Sriphu Convention Center, with the purpose of developing project proposals for the purpose of driving government policy for the fiscal year 2025. The following seven critical areas of national growth were the focus of the workshop:

  • Administration of water resources
  • Development of human capabilities during one’s entire life
  • The generating of income through tourism Development and promotion of the economy at the grassroots level
  • Smart city development in the agricultural sector
  • The effectiveness of the government and the public service

The seminar created significant impacts on various stakeholders and the broader community including;

  1. Enhanced Collaboration: The workshop fosters collaboration between academia, government, and industry stakeholders, leading to a more integrated approach to addressing national challenges.
  2. Informed Policy Proposals: The development of project proposals aimed at driving government policy can provide evidence-based recommendations that influence decision-making at higher levels, ensuring that policies are aligned with actual needs and potential solutions.
