On January 23, 2024, the Faculty of Management Technology organized the project “Encouraging Good Deeds for Children: Season 4” at Rajaprajanugroh 19 School, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. The project aimed to provide vocational training, academic guidance for pursuing higher education at the bachelor’s degree level, and recreational activities for students.
Rajaprajanugroh 19 School, located in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, was established under an announcement of the Ministry of Education, following the royal initiative of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, King Rama IX, through the Rajaprajanugroh Foundation under the Royal Patronage. The establishment of the school was in response to the mudslide disaster that occurred in Phiphun District and neighboring areas in November 1988.
The school provides education for ten categories of underprivileged children in a boarding school system, with funding from the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC) under the Bureau of Special Education Administration, Ministry of Education. It also receives financial support, royal donations, educational materials, and essential living and learning supplies from the Rajaprajanugroh Foundation under the Royal Patronage. The school offers education from Grade 7 to Grade 12 (Matthayom 1–6) to ensure equal opportunities for all individuals to receive at least 12 years of free and quality basic education provided by the state.
The implementation of this project enabled students of Rajaprajanugroh 19 School to gain knowledge and practical experience in vocational skills, as well as information about higher education at the bachelor’s degree level. The project provided educational opportunities for underprivileged students, helping them to make informed decisions regarding their future studies and career paths.
