Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya organized the 15th Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya Freshmen’ Night Contest (“RUTS STAR 2024”) event under the theme “𝑺𝑻𝑨𝑹 𝑶𝑭 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑼𝑵𝑰𝑽𝑬𝑹𝑺𝑬” aiming to select first-year students with outstanding personality, skills, and attitudes to serve as model students who will represent the university in various public and university-level activities.
This year’s RUTS STAR 2024 pageant is not only a platform for identifying students with the potential to be the university’s “Star” and “Moon,” but it also seeks to encourage participants to freely express their unique identities. The event promotes inclusivity by welcoming diverse modes of dress and self-expression across all genders, supporting the LGBTQ community, and fostering equality and acceptance of individual diversity. Furthermore, it provides a space for participants to demonstrate their abilities, creativity, and positive attitudes toward society.
RUTS STAR 2024 reinforces the importance of respecting individual rights, freedom, and diversity in creative and constructive ways within the educational community.
