On February 10, 2025, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), in collaboration with the Public Health Division of Songkhla City Municipality, organized a cervical cancer screening initiative for university staff using the HPV DNA Self-Sampling method.

As part of the initiative, self-sampling test kits were distributed to staff members, accompanied by professional guidance on proper sample collection procedures and understanding test results. Healthcare professionals provided essential information to ensure that participants could confidently and correctly perform the self-sampling process.

The initiative aimed to promote early detection of HPV infection, reduce anxiety and discomfort associated with conventional cervical cancer screening, and improve accessibility to preventive healthcare services. By offering a convenient and less invasive screening option, RUTS encouraged greater participation in cervical cancer prevention and awareness.
