The Faculty of Engineering students presented their prototypes and competed in the Smart Natural Rubber Hackathon project. Under the Smart Natural Rubber Hackathon project, the team “Masterfiber,” consisting of integrating students from Faculty of Business and Administration and Faculty of Engineering as follows:

  1. Mr. Krissadakorn Nucheua, studying in the field of Production Engineering, Faculty of Engineering .
  2. Mr. Punyawat Kaewsang, studying in the field of Production Engineering, Faculty of Engineering .
  3. Mr. Saral Yila, studying in the field of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering .
  4. Miss Naimi Chawisut, studying in the field of Marketing, Faculty of Business and Administration and was supervised by Associate Professor Worapong Boonchuaytan.

The project was part of the efforts to create a new generation of innovations in the field of natural rubber under the Smart Natural Rubber Hackathon project, supported by the Rubber Authority of Thailand.

In this competition, the team presented a prototype product that aims to promote sustainability by using rubber wood sawdust mixed with coconut husk fibers to create various items, including coasters, floor mats, and utility trays.

This project received financial support of 100,000 Baht from the Rubber Authority of Thailand for organizing the exhibition and presenting the work to the Agricultural Committee, business owners, and the general public. It received significant attention and appreciation from all participants.
