Details (English):

The university employs a participatory governance approach by involving service recipients or stakeholders in the university’s operations as deemed appropriate. This includes engaging stakeholders in providing information, expressing opinions, fulfilling roles, fostering collaboration, and participating in university initiatives. The university has established procedures and guidelines for involving service recipients or stakeholders in various mission-oriented groups, as per the objectives of the university outlined in Section 7 of the Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya Act of B.E. 2548.

This approach aims to promote a sense of community and shared responsibility in the university’s decision-making and operational processes. It allows service recipients and stakeholders to actively contribute to and influence the university’s activities and direction, fostering a more inclusive and cooperative environment.

On December 7-8, 2022, an opportunity was provided for teachers, staff, researchers, and entrepreneurs in the southern region to participate in the ROAD SHOW Open Innovation Fast Track event. Representatives from the National Innovation Agency (NIA), a state-owned organization, were in attendance, including:

1. Dr. Nimit Niruththammatkul (Innovation Development Manager, Innovation for Economic Development Division, National Innovation Agency).

2. Dr. Jittima Chusang (Innovation Promotion and Development Officer).

3. Dr. Sunan Kammi (Innovation Developer).

Additionally, a team of two more members accompanied them to join the meeting. During the event, Asst.Prof.Udon Namsen, the Vice President and Chairman of the ceremony, welcomed the participants. Assoc. Prof. Warapong Boonchuay, the Director of the Innovation Management and Technology Transfer Office, and university administrators from all three campuses, as well as teachers and researchers, were present at the meeting. The event took place at the Sriwisawa Conference Room, Faculty of Engineering.

The project aims to develop human resources for supporting the emerging Coastal Tourism industry through technology and innovation. It offers a Premium Course designed to enhance skills, catering to the management of this new-age Coastal Tourism using innovation and technology.
