Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya organized the 13th Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya Freshmen’ Night Contest (RUTS Star Contest 2022).
The Mr. Miss & Miss Queen of RUTS 2022 contest aims to select first-year students who have good personalities, abilities, and good attitudes to become model students ready to serve as public relations ambassadors and be a representative in participating in various activities at the university level further.
The activities will consist of contests for male students, female students, male students (transsexual women) and male students (transsexual women with a body weight of 90 kilograms or more).
For this activity, it is an activity that opens up rights and freedoms in both dress and attitude to all genders with the hidden objective of the visibility and representation of transsexual women in society as well as the empowering transsexual women to embrace their identities, especially, encouraging inclusivity and acceptance the LGBTQ+ community and to reduce stigma and discrimination faced by transsexual women in various aspects of life.
