Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya has signed a memorandum of understanding to promote and implement smoke-free campus policies in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, Ministry of Public Health and National Alliance for Tobacco Free Thailand. This agreement was made on July 5, 2022. As a part of this initiative, various locations within the university have been designated as smoke-free areas, and signage indicating these smoke-free zones has been installed. There are also campaigns and efforts to discourage smoking on campus and promote a smoke-free environment. These measures are aimed at creating a healthier and cleaner environment for the university community by reducing the impact of smoking.
